Music Rhapsody

Our guest this morning is Lynn Kleiner, Founder of Music Rhapsody.

Lynn is an internationally recognized leader in music education and has been teaching since 1978. She is the founder and director of Music Rhapsody, a music school teaching thousands of children in daycare, preschool and elementary school as well as the Music Rhapsody center since 1983.

Lynn also offers early childhood music teacher resources, from books and seminars, to a comprehensive early childhood music curriculum. Lynn’s innovative program is based on the Orff Shulwerk philosophy, weaving together dance, movement, singing, and instruments. Visuals, props, and puppets add to the fun. Awarded the prestigious Oppenheim Award, Lynn’s line of Remo instruments are recommended by the National Parenting Association. Her books and CD’s have won the iMedia Award and the Creative Child Award. She is a popular presenter for the American Orff Association, NAEYC, and CAEYC.

Music Rhapsody is a program created by early childhood development experts and taught by people with advanced degrees in music and education. Every class is geared to exactly where the child is now, from infant, to toddler, to adulthood. Using everything from maracas to piano, the program is proven to help develop motor skills, language, balance, and coordination.

This morning, we’re going to learn about the Music Rhapsody programs and some of the upcoming special events.
