We have two returning guests this morning, Michael Jackson from the Dardanelle Group and our local Assembly Member David Hadley.

David Hadley was elected to represent the 66th Assembly District (the South Bay) in November 2014. Born and raised in Fullerton, he attended Servite High School in Anaheim. David completed his Bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth College and his Master’s degree at the London School of Economics. David and his wife Suzanne have been married for over 22 years and are the proud parents of four children. Their 20-year-old son, Jack, is a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Their three daughters are Claire (17), Ellen (15), and Faith (13) are students at Mira Costa High School.

Michael G. Jackson currently serves as Vice President, Government Relations and Business Development for The Dardanelle Group, Inc.  In this capacity, he serves clients in California on a wide variety of public policy and regulatory issues including transportation, infrastructure, environment, manufacturing, and general business issues.  He has over two decades of experience in Fortune 100 corporate government relations activities in both Washington, D.C. and California. Prior to this position, Michael served as Director of California Government Relations for The Boeing Company for 10 years.

This morning, we’re going to discuss AB 306 with regard to public schools, attendance alternatives and the children of military personnel.
