White Light White Night 2015

We have a couple of returning guests this morning, Nick Arquette and Maureen McBride.

Maureen McBride is the owner of two local retail shops. In May 2000, Tabula Rasa Essentials filled a niche in downtown Manhattan Beach as a lifestyle gift shop. Seeking a new path after 20 years as an executive in the fashion industry, the meaning of Tabula Rasa struck a cord with Maureen – “blank slate”, “new beginnings”, “new ideas”. Tapping into her vast merchandising and marketing experience, she focused on capturing emerging trends in home goods and discovering new artisans from around the world and combined those findings with classic gifting. With Tabula Rasa, Maureen created a unique South Bay shopping experience. Fifteen years later, Maureen and her team launched YORKTOWN.

Nick Arquette is a regular guest on this program and an occasional and much appreciated guest co-host. Nick is passionate with regard to quality of life issues and ten years ago co-founded Walk With Sally, a non-profit foundation which provides mentoring to children whose lives have been affected by a parent or sibling with cancer. For the past nine years, Nick has hosted the White Light,

This morning, Nick and Maureen are going to give us the inside dish on what to expect at WLWN this year.
