Our guests this morning Mary McKenrick from Athens Services, Barbara Ramsey-Duke from the  Beach Cities Blue Zone Project Team and the President of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, Marna Smeltzer.

Mary McKenrick is the Municipal Sales Manager of Athens Services, the provider of refuse, recycling and street sweeping services to over 50 cities in Southern California.  She has been with Athens for over 20 years and is responsible for municipal contract management. Mary monitors compliance with all municipal contract terms and acts as a liaison with City staff, business leaders and non-profit organizations in the communities serviced by Athens. 

Marna Smeltzer is the current President/CEO of the Redondo Beach Chamber. She began her career in 1986 as the Chamber receptionist. She is a graduate of U S Chamber Institute of Organization Management and earned an Accredited Chamber Executive distention in 2000 and 2005. Marna has held key positions with the Chamber Institute of Organization Management, Southern California Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive, Visitor’s Bureau, and Rotary. 

Barbara Ramsey-Duke is currently the Restaurant & Grocery Store Specialist for the Blue Zone Project Team at Beach Cities Health District. Barbara is very active in the community – she is the Food Chair for Host Town Redondo Beach Special Olympics 2015 and works with Shared Bread Ministry.
