Our guests for this morning’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy CEO Panel are Michael Zislis, Russ Lesser and James O’Callaghan.

A visionary entrepreneur, restaurateur, hotelier and philanthropist, Michael Zislis has captivated consumers with a cavalcade of well-loved and highly successful establishments. He brewed his first beer for a school science experiment when he was 13 and by the time he was a student at USC, he was a master brewer.t.

Russ Lesser is the President of Body Glove International. Russ’ grandparents purchased a home in Manhattan Beach in 1917 and he and his wife live about 100 feet from the original family house. He attended Manhattan Beach schools from kindergarten through high school and then graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a degree in accounting. 

James O’Callaghan comes to Manhattan Beach from Venice Visitor, Venice’s first destination marketing organization at which he served as Executive Director. Previously, he served as Director of Visitor Services for LA Inc. and the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau. 

This morning we’re going to learn about the inaugural Manhattan Beach Young Entrepreneurs Academy, sponsored by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and Morgan Stanley. We’re going to chat with a couple of the captains of industry taking an active role in the program’s CEO Panel.
