Todd Loewenstein has 20+ years experience in technology sales, operations, management, and business development. He is well-connected in the local political community, having served as the President of the Redondo Beach Unified School District’s Board of Education. Todd is the President of R4: Redondo Residents for Responsible Revitalization. R4 is a political action committee comprised of residents, political leaders, and business owners that is dedicated to preserve and enhance the quality of life for Redondo Beach residents through education, advocacy, and legislation of responsible development.
Returning guest, Jim Light, is the President of Building a Better Redondo, a non-profit resident group dedicated to preserving and enhancing resident quality of life. Jim has been an active community volunteer since he moved here in 1989, serving on the executive committee of South Bay Surfrider and a President and board member of the South Bay Parkland Conservancy. Light's background includes engineering and executive leadership experience in the US Air Force and the aerospace industry. Jim holds an Aerospace Engineering degree and a Masters in Business Administration.
This morning we’ll be discussing the possible future of the AES power plant site and Measure B. which will be on the ballot next month.
