Our guest this morning is Richard Earl Broome.
Richard is the author of Leaving the Trees, a fictional account of how the cyber threat could destroy the global financial markets and the likely aftermath; and the sequel, Good Crazy, which was released last week.
He frequently writes articles on resilience and survival, the two most recent being “Building A Culture of Preparedness” and “Mind the Gap”.
Richard resides in Bozeman, Montana and teaches part-time at Montana State University.
He joined the U.S. Army at age eighteen with a high school diploma and then spent the next twenty-seven years in military service going from a Private to a full Colonel and earning his Bachelor’s Degree and two Master’s degrees.
He spent the next nineteen years as a businessman, mostly on Wall Street.
Today, we’re going to touch on several different topics including Richard’s new book Good Crazy, Veteran’s Day, Ebola, Isis, his most recent article, Mind the Gap, leadership and what it takes to be an effective leader.
