Our guests this morning are Suzanne Sharer from the Neputians Women’s Club, Nancy Vrankovic from Simms Restaurants and Steve Fairbrother of the MBFD and Burn Foundation.

Suzanne Sharer is a 14 year resident of Manhattan Beach, originally from Tenafly, NJ. She sits on the Board of The Neptunian Woman's Club of Manhattan Beach as the Vice-President of Fundraising. In addition, Suzanne has been a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish and APLA for over 25 years and is one of the top ten fundraisers. Her passions are music, theater, her three rescue dogs, dancing and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Nancy Vrankovic is the Director of Catering and Special Events for Simms Restaurants, a relatively new company based in Manhattan Beach with a rich family history in the restaurant business.  She began her career in her family’s restaurants in Arizona as a teen, bussing tables to make gas money.  What began as an after school job blossomed into a career when she began managing a restaurant while attending the University of Arizona. She then worked at the Westin la Paloma where she worked her way up to Catering Sales Manager. After moving to Manhattan Beach, she landed the position of Director of Catering and Special Events with Simms Restaurants in 2010. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, and will be chairing the Board this coming year.

Steve Fairbrother is an engineer and paramedic with the MB Fire Department.
