John Edmonds, Edmonds Insurance

Our guest this morning is John Edmonds, CEO of Edmund’s Insurance.

John began his career in employee benefit sales, consulting and brokerage in 1979. His background in working with large employers to provide state-of-the-art benefit programs, shaped his vision to provide flexible benefit plans to small/medium sized firms and led him to form Coastal Financial Group in 1988 and rebrand as Edmonds Insurance Services, Inc. just this year. 

California toward the Certified Financial Planning designation. He also earned a designation as Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow. John graduated with an undergraduate degree in Business Finance and Management from the University of Illinois.

John and his wife Chris live in Manhattan Beach, where they enjoy the outdoors and a strong sense of community involvement: on school boards, scouting and coaching local kids. They have three great children: Taylor, Austin and Reilly. John enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and playing golf.

This morning we’ll be discussing health insurance and the various plans and benefits available to individuals and businesses as chamber members.
