Our guests this morning are James O’Callaghan, President and CEO of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce and David Kissinger, Director of Government Affairs at the South Bay Association of Realtors.

James O’Callaghan comes to Manhattan Beach from Venice Visitor, Venice’s first destination marketing organization at which he served as Executive Director. Previously, he served as Director of Visitor Services for LA Inc. and the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau.  As Chamber President and CEO, James guides and oversees the Board of Directors which is comprised of business leaders throughout the South Bay, as well as the Chamber’s 19 committees which include special events, business development programs and more.  James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hofstra University and a Masters of Education from Columbia University.

David Kissinger is the Director of Government Affairs at the South Bay Association of Realtors. He advocates on behalf of Realtors in the South Bay between LAX and the Port of Los Angeles. David has a longstanding interest in urban planning and smart growth, and he is drawn to walkable, sustainable, mixed-use communities.

This morning, we’re going to be talking about one of our favorite subjects: real estate, in particular, what’s going on in the Manhattan Beach real estate market.
