Our guests this morning are Pete Moffat and Dinah Lary and they’re going to tell us all about this year’s Lobster Fest taking place this weekend at Seaside Lagoon.

Born in downtown Los Angeles, Dinah Lary has been a Southern California girl her whole life. She moved to the South Bay with her family in 1960.

Dinah has held several volunteer positions in numerous organizations such as:

The Founding President of the Redondo Beach Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association

Member of various South Bay Chambers of Commerce currently serving as Past Chair of the Board for the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau

Graduate and Co-Chair of Leadership Redondo 2004

Current President of Redondo Beach Round Table and current member of the Lobster Fest Committee.

Pete Moffat was the proprietor of Manhattan Beach Coolers for twenty years before making a career change.

He is now President of Pete Moffett Productions and he’s been producing the Lobster Festival for the last four years.

He is also the Founder and Producer of the City of Redondo Beach 4th of July Fireworks at Seaside Lagoon and the Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks show.

This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the Manhattan Beach show which will be featured on the Travel Channel as one of two best holiday fireworks shows in the county.
