Chris Cameron, ESPOA Main Street Car Show

Our guest this morning is Chris Cameron.

Chris has been an officer with the El Segundo Police Department for the past 15 years and is currently assigned to the K9 unit.

This morning, he’s going to tell us all about the annual El Segundo Main Street Car Show which is sponsored by the El Segundo Police Officer’s Association.

The event is free to the public and will take place on Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 100 to 500 blocks of Main Street.

The Main Street Car Show is an annual affair which typically features over 300 classic, vintage and newer model show cars.

The proceeds from the event are utilized to support many worthwhile causes throughout the community.

Chris has been involved with the car show since its inception in 1997 and has been the coordinator of the show for the past four years.
