Our guests this morning are here to discuss the free Sage Expo (Sustainable And Green Environments)
taking place this weekend.

Guest Mark Lipps is a proponent of conservation and renewable energy and co-founded Sage Expo to
educate the community on these matters.

He is a 17 year resident of Manhattan Beach as well as a husband, parent, dog owner, homeowner and
local business owner and he is passionate about community involvement.

Guest Angie Silverman is an active member of the South Bay community and Co-Founder and Events
Operations Director for Sage Expo.

Angie is always looking for ways to enhance the local urban beach lifestyle by working with community
and business leaders in the South Bay.


Angie holds a Masters of Science in Urban and Regional Planning and has practiced urban planning for
over 10 years. She was a Downtown Planner for four years and implemented a prosperous downtown
social and business environment.

This free event will feature over 100 vendor booths, food, speakers, workshops and entertainment and
will promote local businesses focused on renewable energy, resources and conservation.

Daniel Salzman is a real estate developer and designer with an emphasis on sustainable practices and
will have a booth at Sage Expo.

He is the principal of Evergreen Design Build, Inc., one of the leading green-building firms in Southern
California, having built LEED and Build-It-Green residences as well as spearheading the recent green
remodel of Manhattan Beach's Congregation Tikvat Jacob.
