We are interviewing Shaina Boe, one of the four Birmingham student activists whose essays were chosen to be featured at the upcoming 8th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration - "Staying Awake for Human Rights" - sponsored by the Birmingham Peace Project at Kelly Ingram Park, January 8, 2011 at 3 p.m. The Birmingham Peace Project is an anti-war group that educates for peace, freedom, social justice and human rights. Shaina is a recent graduate of UAB who has been active with the Alabama Women's Resource Network.
