Sunday Brunch feat. Lesley Barber, Zain Effendi, Coco O'Connor (Film/TV Composers, Music in Media)

You're invited to a special two-hour segment featuring music artists who compose for films/TV or who have songs placed in media.

LESLEY BARBER, one of the most exciting and respected young composers working in music today. She composes for film, theater, chamber and orchestral ensembles and is also a conductor, pianist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. MS. BARBER has written film scores for Academy Award winning feature films like Kenneth Longerin’s "You Can Count on Me", and scored several films for her partner Patricia Rozema (Mansfield Park, When Night is Falling).

ZAIN EFFENDI (Best New Composer, Hollywood Music in Media) is an award-winning film soundtrack composer. MR. EFFENDI worked for four years with award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer on projects including the "The Dark Knight" and "Pirates of the Caribbean 3." He will be traveling to Kenya, Africa soon to work on a special project.

COCO O'CONNOR was nominated for Best New Ambient Vocalist by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and is the first singer/songwriter to contribute a song to the Reach 4 Freedom: Heal Child Abuse Music Project to which Creator's Parrot radio channel is dedicated.

ZAIN EFFENDI is also the Guest Co-Host.
