2 people found dead in Indiana after house fire/Obama says status quo no solution on health care

Officials in Griffith found two people dead following a house fire Friday night. At about 8:48 p.m., Griffith police and fire department received a call alerting them to a fire at a home in the 600 block of North Lindberg, said Griffith Police Lt. Don McCarter. The fire was called in by a family member, McCarter said. He was not sure if the family member was in the house or near the house. Fire officials found two dead in a room, McCarter said. The ages of the victims have not been confirmed but it is believed they are young adults or late teens, McCarter said.
