Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley and Cowbiy 347 will interview New York Times Best Selling Author Tracey Baptiste.

 

 Tracey Baptiste is a New York Times bestselling author of seventeen books and several short stories for children. She is best known for The Jumbies series which have been Junior Library Guild selections, We Need Diverse Books "Must Read" titles, New York Public Libraries Staff Picks, and Best Books of the year by Bank Street Books and NPR. Her novel Minecraft: The Crash debuted at #5 on the New York Times bestseller list in 2018

 

About the illustrator: Leisl Adams is a Director, Storyboard Artist and Illustrator. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she graduated from the Classical Animation program at Sheridan College in 2002, then moved to Halifax Nova Scotia. She has worked in television and film storyboarding for clients like Amazon and Disney Junior, also directing Season 2 of American Girl's Wellie Wishers for Mattel in 2018, and the short film  he Elephant in The Waiting Room, for The Empathy Project at NYU. Besides drawing, Leisl also loves baking. She went to London to study at the Peggy Porschen Academy, earning a diploma in Cake Design. To this day she has been known to push her creations on unsuspecting neighbors and co-workers. Leisl lives with her husband, and two sons in Ottawa, Ontario
