Dale is the co-founder and lead singer of Missing Persons, one of the 80s most distinctive bands…musically, stylistically, and, primarily because of Dale, fashion-wise.  Check out this link to Dale’s always adventurous and creative fashion sense from over the years:  https://www.lethalamounts.com/magazine-index/2021/01/21/dale-bozzio-new-wave-neon-babe.

She has released her scintillating autobiography entitled Life is So Strange – Missing Persons, Frank Zappa, Prince & Beyond, through Los Angeles-based label Cleopatra Entertainment.

The book is a riotous, humorous, sexy, intimate, no-holds barred story of Bozzio’s life in and out of music.   She has absolutely no qualms about sharing stories of all aspects of her life that will amaze, titillate, impress, and endear her to those who read her fascinating life journey.  This book is the ultimate kiss and tell story!

Dale, a native of Medford, MA who lives in Los Angeles,  is available for an advance interview to talk about her new book and, of course, about her amazing career and life in and out of music.

Please let me know if interested and I’ll be happy to arrange it.

The book is a comprehensive overview of her life…from her childhood to her tales of life in the fast lane.

In the 70s, she worked at the Playboy Club in Boston and in 1975 was named Boston Playboy Club Bunny of the Year.  She wound up in L.A. and met Frank Zappa, an influential figure in her life.  Zappa cast her in his rock opera Joe’s Garage, in his film Baby Snakes and in his musical Thing-Fish.  Bozzio still speaks reverentially of Zappa for helping her launch her music career.
