Jasmine Guy was born in 1962.  She is an American actress, singer, director, and dancer.  Some of her shows include:  The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,  Alex Haley's Queen, Melrose Place, Touched by an Angel, and many others, but she is best known for her role as the "Southern Belle" Whitley Gilbert-Wayne on the NBC television sitcom A Different World (1987-1993)  Jasmine also does voiceover work for animation.
