It is the 1930's and while the war is going on in Europe, back here in the United States we were emerging from the Great Depression of 1929 and we needed hope.

Hope came in the shape and form of F.D. Roosevelt and being elected into the office of President of the United States after the disappointment of the former presidential regime.

In this episode I talk about the invention of Kodachrome and what that meant.

The cities that ruled the US and guess what the biggest city in the South at that time was NOT Atlanta.

I bring facts out about the different cities.

Do you know how important Roosevelt's New Deal was?

I discuss the entire "deal" in detail and how it impacted everyone and still lives on to this day.

The New York World's Fair ran for 2 seasons 1939 and 1940.

I share with you facts about those pre-Pearl Harbor days right up to DiMaggio having a spectacular year and the NY Yankees heading to the World Series in 1941.

I share my father's love letter home from 1/16/45 and my mother went back to work.

Thank you ALL so much.
