Co-written by Joss Whedon (BUFFY, THE AVENGERS) & John August (BIG FISH, CORPSE BRIDE), directed by Don Bluth & Gary Goldman (THE SECRET OF N.I.M.H., THE LAND BEFORE TIME); and featuring stunning concept designs by Ron Cobb (CONAN THE BARBARIAN, THE LAST STARFIGHTER), Oliver Scholl (STARGATE, A.I.) and Wayne Barlowe (AVATAR, HELLBOY), the 2000 animated sci fi / adventure epic, ... and box office disappointment ..., TITAN A.E., would ultimately emerge as the quintessential more mature genre exercise years ahead of it's medium, era, and originally misdirected studio ad campaign.
