Is Christianity becoming the nation’s public enemy number one? Of course not, but as a Christian, I must admit that I sometimes feel about as popular as Justin Bieber at a Hell’s Angel Convention. Why? I’m not sure.
Maybe it’s because there is a growing segment of intellectuals that assume most Christians reject science for irrational mysticism.
Maybe it’s because this same growing segment views Christianity as an antiquated, self-righteous and judgmental sect that has been the cause of death and destruction for centuries.
It is likely a combination of these and other reasonable but overly generalized sentiments that are at the center of the growing disdain for our faith.… More . . .
