"Sharif Bey is a researcher and lecturer on the Moorish Movement. He has been involved and active in the Moorish Movement since 1990 through the Circle of Mothers and Sons. He began lecturing in 1998 with the still-popular "Moorish Jurisprudence" lecture in NYC. Sharif Bey joined the Moorish Science Temple of America in 2000, and has raised up three study groups and one temple. He is currently the Acting Grand Sheik of a large study group in Syracuse NY."
