YOUR WEAKNESSES ARE GOD'S GIFT TO TEACH YOU HOW TO OPERATE IN LOVE!

We will be discussing how much we have to realize that when we are going through, no matter what it is, how it looks or how it feels, it is our affliction that God has given us to make us stronger for our assignment. There is no way out except for the way that God provides, and He is not going to take away our cup until the work is finished. Although we feel the pressures of learning how to adjust to pain and disappointment, we must learn to come to understand that the work of going through the fire for God is not an easy task. God did not promise us that we would not hurt, instead He sent Jesus to show us how to gracefully stand our pain. NO matter what we go through, the lesson is always love, just as it was when Jesus was on the cross. We must learn how to operate in love, and withstand our afflictions, so God can finish the work of making us strong in our weaknesses.

2 Corinthians 12:9The Message (MSG)

 Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,

My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.

Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
