We will be discussing the importance of taking off the 'religious' cloaks that we wear to perform as spiritual characters. Too many people are being misguided into thinking that it is okay to behave the way they do and still call themselves Christians. Religious spirits are more prevalent in the world today, and spirituality is being looked upon as something we can do or learn later. Since we do not know the day or the hour when the One True Living Christ will return, it behooves us to stop our charades and learn how to effectively love one another as God has ordained. We must acknowledge that going into the church, preaching the Word, quoting scriptures, posting religious sayings, and dressing the part, is not of God when we do not operate in love. When we learn how to operate in love with God's children and produce the fruits of the spirit among each other, then and only then will we become less religiious and more spiritual, taking off religious cloaks and putting on the spirit of Christ to be more Christlike and exhibiting a Christian Life, instead of a religious spirit.

1 Corinthians 13:1-7  The Message (MSG)

The Way of Love

13 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all His mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
