I will be discussing Deion Sanders becoming the new head coach at Jackson State, the NBA conference finals, and sharing my thoughts on NFL's Week 2 with Duane Nash from 'The Yard/HBCU Sports' and Facebook Live's 'SLZE Radio'.
Given that Duane covers HBCU sports, I know he has a plethora of thoughts on Sanders becoming Jackson State's football coach. Will this be the turning point of HBCU athletics as we know it? Will more 4- and 5-star high school athletes consider HBCUs? More importantly, will the administration at JSU do its part by investing in the football program?
While the Lakers are still in control of the Western Conference Finals, do the Celtics have a chance against the Heat? In fact, does the Eastern conference champ have a shot in hell vs. the Lakers?
It's still too early to know who the contenders are in the NFL wafter Week 2, but we will try to identify them.
