Dr Wilson Received Ph.D. Political Science, City Graduate Center, City University of New York  and he has been writing on the culture and development of Jamaican music as it relates to the diaspora for more than four decades. Currently - Dean of the Criminal Justice Graduate Program, Monroe College, Bronx, New York 2009 to present.
