The Shamanistic Way: Guest Lena Swanson

Shamanic healing techniques are 30,000 to 40,000 years old and are still practiced world wide by both indigenous peoples and others who are called to this work. Sometimes known as spirit doctors or medicine men, shamans view illness as disharmony in a person's life on the spiritual level. This disharmony can lead to mental, emotional, and/or physical illness if left unresolved.

Tonight we are going to discuss how shamanistic practices can help a person heal on a deep physical, spiritual and emotional level with shamanic healer Lena Swanson.  Shamanism is often misrepresented in the public as something dark and mysterious.  We will spend time seperating the myth from the reality of it being an effective tool in holistic health and wellness.

About Lena:

Lena Swanson has been a full time shamanic healer, professional psychic, animal communicator, past life regression facilitator and Reiki master for the past nine years. She is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies’ Three Year Program, considered to be the most advanced training available in core shamanism. She also completed Sandra Ingerman’s two year shamanic teacher training program. Her holistic healthcare practice focuses on achieving and maintaining wellness for both people and animals. She teaches a variety of animal communication and shamanic journeying classes and has been featured on television and radio. Lena is available as a speaker for conferences and special events.
