PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)  is a type of anxiety disorder. It can occur after you've seen or experienced a traumatic event that involved the threat of injury or death.  Some of its sufferers continue to relive the event or situation long after the danger has passed.  Many of the people with PTSD find it hard to connect to their family and loved ones.  

There are many approaches to treating this disorder.  On this program we have comprosied a panel will be discussing some of the holistic/integrative medicinal approaches that have been showing some success in getting these men and women back to happier and productive lives.

The Panel:

Dr. Jill Strunk is a psychologist in private practice in Minnetonka.  She has used EMDR as her primary modality for almost 15 years.  She is a facilitator for EMDR Institute trainings and a certified consultant with EMDR International Association.  She also volunteers for the EMDR Humanitarian Association, which offers free EMDR trainings around the world during crises, as well as low cost trainings for providers who work with underserved populations.

SchaOn Blodgett is an Esogetics Colorpuncture Practitioner. Esogetics Colorpuncture utilizes specific frequencies believed to enhance and correct the biophotonic communication of the mind, body and spirit through the use of light, specifically cut Swarovski crystals, sound and sacred geometry. 

Bel Marshall is an EFT Practitioner and a life coach.  Bel experienced PSTD first hand with a former spouse who served in the Iraq conflict.
