When the pain starts, you simply want it to stop but it's not always that easy! All pain isn't bad pain, it just depends on how hard and frequent it is! Pain is a part of life and the only thing you can do is embrace it and use it! Physical pain, Mental pain, they both hurt, just in different ways! We were designed to grow through pain, hence the old saying that I now know to be true "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Every time we heal, we heal stronger. Broken bones heal stronger, muscles and ligaments heal stronger. Every time we face a tragedy we mentally heal stronger and wiser. The trick to benefitting from it is learning from it the first time and knowing how to use it to help others get through the same pain! When you learn the lesson that the pain is teaching, you are less likely to revisit that pain.
