The Great American Story with Bob Day broadcasts are gripping entertainment, gifted narration and purely American historical themes with “just a little bit of attitude.”

In This Show.....

Bob Interviews "Chuck Aurin", Paranormal Investigator. Chuck Aurin (pronounced OR-IN) was born in Yonkers, New York and raised in southern Rhode Island where he developed an interest in the paranormal. He attended the University of Rhode Island and entered the Air Force at the age of 20 as a military police officer. Upon his separation from military service, Chuck became a police officer in Bangor, Maine until moving to Florida in 1990 to continue his police career. He retired as a police Captain after 26 years of law enforcement service.

One day while watching a popular paranormal television program, Chuck recognized one of the locations featured on the show as an alleged haunted inn that he had delivered newspapers to as a boy. This renewed his interest in the paranormal and after doing a little research, found South Florida Ghost Team on the internet. Chuck offered his services as a seasoned criminal investigator who was also an avowed skeptic. Chuck was welcomed into the team and in short order, became the Assistant Director. Due to expansion of the team into other areas of Florida, other states, and even other countries, the team rebranded in 2011 as Paranormal Crossroad Investigations (PCI) where he continues to serve as assistant director.
