Internet Child Predators – Bottom Rung of Sexual Immorality

Predator - any animal that lives by preying on other animals.  Internet Predators could be defined as those people seeking to exercise unfair and deceptive advantage over other people using the internet as a fundamental means of perpetrating their devious deeds.  Pedophiles are perhaps the worse of these predators.  The internet, for all its perceived good, provides a superior vehicle for these child predators to quickly and conveniently engage children in seductive conversation.  They ruin the lives of their prey.  In the worse cases, these molesters murder their victims to conceal their despicable acts.  Children, of various ages, in many cases are lulled into trusting their seducers and are eventually trapped by fear of being exposed as disobedient.  How can the youth of our society be spared such a fate?  The Bible has answers to many questions.  However, the internet was not even close to being thought of when the Bible was written.  So how could it be possible that an ancient text can somehow guarantee the safety of the most vulnerable and innocent among us from sexual predators in a modern highly technical atmosphere?  Perhaps the Brothers in the Virtual Living Room may through the scriptures help shed light on how to protect children from internet predators.
