I have a question for Vicki (hey it's Miki from the boards)--having written a series, do you think writing a stand alone novel would be hard to do?

I have a question also, does the public's opinion or desires for some of your characters or storylines have an impact on how you form the futures of your characters or do you try to stay focused on your original plan?

For all the authors: What a great group! I'm thrilled to hear you all together. My question is: do you ever get tired of your continuing characters? Do you sometimes wish you could 'retire' them?
