Suicide and Depression were the topics in this very important show. We were joined by Gina Maria Smallwood, whose son Kelvin, was a victim of suicide in 2008. Ms. Smallwood is now on a mission to address the issue of depression among African Americans and prevent cases like her son's. We were also joined by Sharise Darby, a Hampton University journalism student who is researching the issue of depression and suicide among African American males.
