Photobucket Kevin is a native of Levittown, New York and began singing at the age of 10.  Over the past seven years he has performed in a number of choirs, choruses and chorales and has been featured in his school musical and comedy productions.  For the past two years, Kevin has been selected to sing with New York's all-State Chorus. He has entered and won several local talent competitions, including "Reach for the Stars" in 2003.   In August 2005, Kevin traveled to Boston to try out for the hit television show "American Idol".  He passed the initial auditions, flew out to Hollywood and went on to make it to the Top 24 (out of 92,000 contestants). In February 2006, Kevin appeared on live television for five weeks, before leaving "American Idol" as finalist number 11.  After exiting the show, he was a guest on "Live with Regis and Kelly", the "Today Show" as well as "The Ellen Show".   Post-Idol, Kevin has had a full schedule, making numerous appearances and performing with past Idol finalists Melissa McGee, Anthony Federov, Constantine Maroulis and Season Two Winner, Ruben Studdard. Kevin also starred in the MGM film, “College” which was released this summer and will soon be released on dvd. He is also featured in the Lindsay Lohan film, “Labor Pains, “ due for release sometime in 2009.   Kevin was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11.  He devotes much of his time to raising the level of awareness of diabetes and the challenges facing diabetics.  He has performed at fund-raisers and diabetic support groups all over the country.
