When families start having internal problems, there is professional help.  One of these is Beth Venable who joined Lon March 16, 2015 to talk about her new Coaching, Consulting and Adventure business she just established.  Beth has had a successful career with therapeutic boarding schools and wilderness programs for several years and is bringing that experience to directly helping families as a family coach.  She emphasizes she is a coach, not a therapist.  She explained how she might be of help with families through several sessions with the parents to understand just what their needs are.  She then suggests possible actions that might bring the family back into a more coherent unit.  This might include a four day outdoor adventure custom designed for that family which she would lead.  She has a number of years experience doing just that for families who have children enrolled in therapeutic programs.  She now plans to do the same thing for her coaching clients.
