Therapeutic Boarding Schools are expensive, so how do parents afford them?  Scott Leshin, Founder and President of SJ Personal Healthcare Advocates, joined Lon February 27, 2015 to explain how his business was founded to help parents handle what might at first seem overwhelming.  Working on a contingency basis, Scott explained there are a lot of potential resources for parents such as insurance and school district financing through the Individual Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).  The best way for parents to access these resources are to work with a professional who knows the system and how to help parents work through the health insurance and education bureaucracies to ensure claims are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
