Call in to speak with the host
In this session, we will take death as a teaching aid to get a glimpse of our real Self.
While meditation (the topic of last week) can be hard for beginners, all of us can imagine dying and benefit tremendously from the experience. We shall do so today with a simulation of dying to find what lies beyond this dreaded boundary. What you discover can release you forever from the fear of death, and even prepare you for having an anandic smile on your face as you drop this body!
With lessons from the Yaksha Prasna of the Mahabharata, the Katha Upanishad, the Bhagavat Gita, and the story of Ramana Maharishi on death and what survives it, Dying to Know Your Self is also an eye-opener to the enchantment of life that begins when death has been properly understood.
