Can or should Christians take sides and be involved in Politics?

"Poly" - a word meaning many - "Tics" - blood sucking insects! Why is it that we have two main political parties in America; Why not 3,4 or 5? Why do people disagree in politics and are there spiritual wickedness involved? What makes a Democrat or a Republican and what are the spiritual forces involved? What does the bible say about Christians and politics? Why do people get so mad about politics when it is discussed or can we just agree to disagree?
