For many, religion and church are a great source of comfort and solace. The implied or overt messages of rejection, sin and damnation do not necessarily make it a welcome option for the GLBQT Community. How does one reconcile the mixed messages of "God loves everybody" and "you are an abomination to the Lord"? What does the Bible really say about being homosexual? If you are gay, how do you effectively manage the challenges of self-loathing, condemnation and a feeling of separation from mainstream society and (perhaps even) God? What are the core beliefs that are at the foundation of homophobia and how do we heal them? If you are heterosexual, how do you manage your own prejudice, beliefs and discomfort to bridge the divide? Join us as we welcome independent filmmaker Ky Dickens, Director and Executive Producer of "Fish Out of Water" and gay spiritual leader Rev. Mark Anthony Lord, Founder/Director of the Bodhi Spiritual Center in Chicago, and author of The Seven Living Words – An Illuminated Perspective on the Seven Last Words of Jesus, and one of the creators of "Liberation 2010," a conference inviting GLBT people to answer their call to greatness. Mark Ward and AJ Lambert facilitate this powerful discussion in a special 90-minute edition of "The Pill." Call in and join the conversation!
