On September 26, 1991.  Greg Taylor was out with an acquaintance driving around the town of Raleigh, NC.  At some point in the early morning hours, Greg's truck became stuck in the mud as he was turning around in a desolate cul-de-sac.  After several attempts to get the truck out of the mud, the two men decided to walk back to town.  As the two men were walking, they see what appeared to be a body.  The next day as Greg went back to retrieve his truck, he and his passenger Johnny Beck became the prime suspects in the murder of Jacquetta Thomas.  Investigators and proseuctors attempted several times to get Greg Taylor to point the finger at Johnny Beck as the killer in exchange for his freedom.  Greg Taylor refused and spent the next 17 years of his life in prison for first degree murder, while Johnny Beck went free.  The conviction was based on false testimony, "jail house sticthes" and key witnesses not testifying perfectly planned by the prosecution.  There was no trace evidence, no murder weapon and no motive.  One of Greg Taylor biggest supporters since day one was surprisingly Jacquetta's sister Yolanda Littlejohn.  17 years later results of blood test revealed the blood on Greg's truck was not Jacquetta's nor was it human blood, the jail house stitch recanted his testimony saying he was promised a lighter sentence if he lied and the key witness that could have validated Greg's alibi was finally called to testify.  Greg Taylor was found innocent and one of his biggest supporters was in the court room cheering along with Greg's family, the victim's sister Yolanda Littlejohn.  Tune in this Wednesday as our guest will be not only the wrongfully accused Greg Taylor but also Yolando Littlejohn.  We will hear from both sides about this amazing 17 year journey.  We will also focus on the murder of Jacquetta Thomas and what is being done to solve it.
