The Merry Widower: Our God is a Pissed Off God

Gaill and I were not what one would call religious people. We both believed in God, but not the same one that the right wing American Taliban Religiofascists believe should be running our nation. I've had time to consider my beliefs in the nearly five months since Gail died. I guess if you were to put my beliefs on a peg, that peg would be labeled "Unitarian Universalist." I won't tell you what to believe. I expect the same courtesy. When good people tell me Gail is "in a better place," I have to wonder, "you mean, better than being with the man she loved for 27 years?" When they tell me it's "God's Will," I wonder where the supreme juggler finds time with his having to operate an entire universe to decide when Gail was supposed to die. I reject the right wing American Taliban Religiofascist view that the Bible outranks the Constitution. And on this show, you will hear why.
