In this episode, Tenzin Norbu will explain the Buddhist concept of renunciation. Renunciation is one of the "three principle aspects of the path." The other two are Bodhicitta and the perfection of Wisdom. Renunciation is an attitude about the value of worldly things. Christianity teaches a concept similar to renunciation, and it is often expressed by saying that Christians should "be in this world but not of this world."

The second half of this episode will showcase the music of the singer/songwriter Duncan Ross, who is a featured artist on the cd, "Dhamma Gita, Music of Young Practitioners Inspired by the Dhamma."
