Encouragement from the Heart with Barbara Tifft Blakey

Barbara Tifft Blakey will be joining us today. Barbara is a free-lance writer and author of Total Language Plus, a literature based language arts program. She also is the author of Bertie’s War, her debut novel released in April, 2009. She and her husband Terry have been married for over 37 years and have four children, three of whom were home-schooled through high school. Barbara is a nationally-known speaker, having conducted workshops and seminars on a variety of topics for private schools, Christian women’s groups, home-schooling conventions and support groups for over 17 years. She makes her home in Olympia, Washington where she conducts writing workshops and teaches literature-based classes to home school groups.
