Also joining us will be an AL Arabi news journalist, Mr. Amr Gohar. WHO – Attorney Sahar Aziz, principal of the Law Office of Sahar F. Aziz, is a civil rights attorney of Egyptian descent and adjunct professor of national security law and civil rights at the Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Aziz’s practice focuses on immigration, employment, and civil rights matters. WHO – Mr. Amr Gohar is an Egyptian a journalist at the London-based AL Arabi News. Reporting on the events in and around Tarhir Square, Mr. Gohar will be discussing the current events as well as the ongoing crackdown on Egyptian and foreign journalists. SUBJECT MATTER – On January 18, 2011, Ms. Asma Mahfouz recorded her video on YouTube and then shared it with the world on Facebook, proclaiming, “We just want our human rights and nothing else.” (see video). Attorney Sahar Aziz will offer a follow-up on recent events in Egypt. Mr. Amr Gohar from AL Arabi News will also offer accounts of recent government action and the people’s response to the crackdown on journalists and more.
