 Joseph Maurice Branch, who also goe’s by the stage name Da Original Supastar, born on October 13 1980, in the Tarheel State of North Carolina. He is an American Rapper and Songwriter.

 He graduated from Lumberton Senior High School in 1998, where he was in the Beta Club, Honor Roll, and a North Carolina Scholar with over a 3.0 GPA. He is a fan of 80's and 90's hip hop and underground hip hop sound, It wasn't until 2010 that he discovered his talent and calling with God when he decided to start rapping and songwriting.

 His influences include A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Rakim, KRS-One, Outkast, Scarface, Common, Wu-Tang Clan, Gang Starr, EPMD, De La Soul Notorious B.I.G. 2Pac and producers DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, RZA, Dr. Dre, and 9th Wonder.

 One of his goals other than being a rapper and songwriter is to start his own radio station dedicated to Gospel Music, Old school, Underground and Unsigned Artist and is well on his way.
