As General Counsel, Tiffany serves as the Assembly Majority Office's chief legal officer and oversees the Assembly Majority’s legal staff. She provides counsel to the Assembly Majority Caucus on ethics, conflicts of interest, employment and personnel matters and the legal implications of pending legislation. She is the committee aide for the Judiciary Committee. Prior to joining the AMO, Tiffany Williams worked as a senior associate at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti, L.L.P. Her prior positions include having served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, as an associate at a major Boston law firm, as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Appeals Court, as an intern to the Honorable John E. Wallace, Jr. and as an intern to the White House Office of Legal Counsel for President William J. Clinton. She was named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, as one of NJBiz Magazine’s Best 50 Women in Business, as one of the Network Journal’s Forty Under 40 Achievers and as the 2006 New Jersey State Bar Association’s “Young Lawyer of the Year.” A former 1st runner-up to Miss New Jersey, Tiffany lives in Somerset and is an ordained minister. Tiffany attained her law degree from the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston in May 1999. She holds a master's in public administration and a bachelor of arts in political science from Rutgers University. Rev. Tiffany will share with us how she balances her work as an attorney and her ministry. She is truly an inspiring woman.
