A discussion of current political issues with the current Republican Nominee for the 12th Illinois Congressional District. Joining me will be Jim Neidner, Congressional candidate from Texas in 2012. He hasn't selected a district yet (taking a page from my playbook LOL) but he's going to be an amazing Congressman and I can't wait to be at his swearing-in! We'll be having a lively talk about all kinds of issues so join us Monday May 17 at 9 pm Eastern/8 Central right here at Blog Talk Radio! PACs don't get an extra seat at my table, they sit with the citizens and wait their turn like everyone. I work for YOU--not Pelosi, or Obama or the Republicans. The people of the 12th district are my boss and I will answer only to them and I want to engage them in the process and encourage everyone to participate and communicate. It's a live show with diverse guests and issues of the day are discussed freely with no holds barred. I believe that America can be rescued from the path she is on and that it's the wrong path for our great country. We have to stop borrowing and spending money we don't have. We need to create good jobs and get our education standards back to where they used to be. I'm a supporter of the Fair Tax. I visualize an America where everyone works and pays small taxes. I'm not about party labels, I'm about trying to do better for the people of America. We have serious problems and we need to work to fix them. The reckless spending and total lack of regard for the wishes of the people have set dangerous precedents that threaten all of us. The district includes East St. Louis area and runs from Alton Illinois to the bottom of the state along the Mississippi River; heavy industry to the north, Scott Air Force Base to the east and stops at the Mississippi River to the west and has a lot of farming communities to the south.
