Stacks on Deck; Black Fundraising and Philanthropy

For many years we have discussed the effects of widespread capitalism as a root cause of the current conditions of black folks in America. From chattel slavery to the institutions that were built and created as a result of free capital. With black buying power reaching over $1 trillion dollars, it’s time that we reexamine capitalism through the lenses of fundraising/philanthropy for ourselves to see the institutions and impact that will change our conditions.  By pooling our dollars together, fundraising for our causes, we can change the way that we’re viewed and the physical environments that we dwell in.
