Tara Kachaturoff interviews Judge Michael Warren about Patriot Week. He and his daughter Leah are the founders of PatriotWeek.org.

Hon. Michael Warren is the Presiding Judge of the General Civil and Criminal Division of the Oakland County Circuit. Appointed to the bench by Governor John Engler in 2002, he was elected in 2004 and 2006. A former member of the State Board of Education, he has written extensively on education and legal matters, including his book, America’s Survival Guide, How to Stop America’s Impending Suicide by Reclaiming Our First Principles and History. He is a Visiting Professor of constitutional law at Cooley Law School, and recently authored the Michigan constitutional law survey article for the Wayne State Law Review. He and his then 10 year old daughter Leah co-founded Patriot Week, which is celebrated in several states, including in scores of schools and community organizations. Leah is a student at Birmingham Covington School, participates in forensics and is an honors board member of Patriot Week.
